Out stay at the Chillagoe Guest House was very comfortable and enjoyable. The faciliies were very clean and we found everything we needed during our stay. I would highly recommend if looking for accommodation in Chillagoe!

The freshness of the accomodation was very welcome. The internet access was an unexpected bonus and enabled me to download a new book on my Kindle. Overall a very pleasant experience.

Firstly just stay at the guest house...best value for money around and right in town. Make sure you visit the caves and also the smelters. The place has a great country feel and the pubs are safe for the family to have a meal...unlike Cairns!! Chillagoe has a river all year round and it was nice to just sit there... More

The Post Office Guest House was welcoming, very clean and well organised. It was located in a central position across the road from the local tourism office. The locals were very friendly. We enjoyed our stay immensely and didn't want to leave!
