Since our booked hotel was closed due to natural desaster, we were sent to Red Mill House. We think we couldn't haven found a better place. The warmth of Trish and Andrew overwhelmed us as did their profound knowledge of the area in every aspect, with its treasures of nature, that provided us three wonderful days of sightseeing, including maps,...

We stayed at Red Mill House in February this year and it was perfect for us. The house and garden are idyllic and beautifully situated in Dantree Village. Both Cape Tribulation and Daintree River are close enough to visit by car and the whole area is scenic, peaceful and full of wildlife including lots of birds. The owners are very...

We had such a wonderful time when we stayed with Trish and Andrew in Daintree for three nights during the Easter holidays, Our accommodation consisted of two ground floor rooms which were beautifully furnished and kept spotlessly clean. Red Mill House has a large rainforest garden, which is very peaceful and crammed with wildlife. To sit out on the porch...

We recently stayed with Trish and Andrew in their wonderful Red Mill House. We had the family suite downstairs in the main house and this was fantastic as we had separate bedrooms, a little lounge room with TV for our 10 year old to relax in front of between swims in the pool, lots of books and a DVD player...

Fantastic B&B. Trish and Andrew were so hospitable and friendly. Service was above and beyond expectation. Devine brekky, superb setting, very quiet place. Provided a perfect escape for our usual hustle and bustle city lives....
Wonderful! Great accomodation, excellent breakfasts, and brilliant energy and enthusiasm on the part of Trish and Andrew in terms of exploring our interests and organising outings to suit. An unhesitating "ten out of ten" from both 50-something me and my two 20-something offspring.
We enjoyed six nights with Trish and Andrew at Red Mill House in Daintree. Originally I booked there for a bird loving member of our family, Bob aged 11yrs. We all enjoyed our holiday in Daintree Village very much. Trish and Andrew took young Bob off for bird watching walks and it was the highlight of his trip to Far...

Anyone who considers spending a few days in Daintree should aim at staying at the Red Mill House. Andrew and Trish are perfect hosts, you'll not wish to go home. Even my wild 13 y.o. son fell in love with their kindness and hospitality. He'll never forget the fishing expedition that Andrew volunteered to arrange.
My husband and I have stayed here 3 times now and can absolutely give it our top rating. The beds are comfortable, rooms are beautiful, clean and well appointed and the breakfasts!!! Trish's home-made yogurt with muesli and fresh, local fruit is not to be missed. It is an easy hop to the Daintree National Park. I would also highly...
