Had a good stay here despite the fact it rained all the way through.The rooms are a bit or a squish but it gets u into the bar/resturant to meet people.They were on the other hand kept pretty clean.The bathroom though could do with a bit of a scrub.Got a free Dinner and Breakfast both of which were the tastiest... Great location on the beach. Tiny, dirty rooms, and the RUDEST receptionist I have ever come across. Magnetic island is great but hostel needs improvement, starting by sacking the awful Ozzie girl that answers the phones.

The location right on the beach is what makes this hostel worth staying at! The staff were also good and helpful. The kitchen was crowded and a bit dirty but the location makes up for that. You can watch the sunrise from the restaurant area which was a really good way to start the day.

Excellent hostel, right on beach. Nice atmosphere. Took part in trivia night and got really good prizes. Went to eight bed dorm not enough beds so got upgraded to seafront 3/4person ensuite dorm it was amazing!!
