Stayed one night here, really enjoyed the comfortable beds in the share dorm rooms and the people I met there. The host was really nice and welcoming, as were the other guests. The decoration was quaint and unique. I went on the night canoeing trip and loved it. Yungaburra is a beautiful area.

It was so cozy and the people were so nice. We stayed there for one night but could've stayed there for way longer, it felt more like home than any other hostel I'd been in in Australia (and that were many, believe me). The service was great and the people were so helpful. I hope no one takes advantage of... More

The really friendly and informative staff give this clean and well run hostel such a relaxed and laid back feel. The rooms and bathrooms are clean and comfortable and the communal evening barbecues put on by the staff are a great way to get everyone talking and socialising. A very pleasant place to stay.

Hostel Location; Yungaburra is a very friendly little town. OTW's not far from a convenience store and within walking distance of a platypus viewing platform. It's also a short drive (1.5km) to the Curtain Fig Tree, a great spot for night time possum and tree-kangaroo spotting. Positives: + Tracy who works there is awesome, friendly and very helpful with your... More

Lovely hostel with lovely and very helpful staff. There is a lot to see and do around here, visit the beautiful crater lakes, the waterfalls and the rainforest... It's just drop dead gorgeous! We went night canoeing which you can do for an extra 40 dollars, and we got to see tree kangaroos, a platypus and possums. Don't miss it... More

My favourite place to go in FNQ! Close to all the lakes, waterfalls, trails and activities. Next to the village but feels like you're away from it all. Great facilities and amazing staff! Tracy, David and Kim look after you so well. Such a perfect place for a relaxing retreat and/or active outing. Thanks again OTW for another fantastic little... More

Lovely little cottage styled hostel. Clean & extremely quiet. Silence/quietness/peace is something very valuable to someone who lives in one of the most densely populated countries in the world. All the staff were lovely & i enjoyed my quiet morning walk along Petersons Creek and I completed the journey till Frawleys Pool and Railway. Enjoyed the sight spotting about nature... More
