What a smashing old hotel. We had a 3 night break here, all very nice. Had room 7, with a huge 4-poster bed.., overlooking the front grounds. Lovely. The food was excellent. We used Tesco Vouchers to bring the cost down ! Well worth saving them up..! Visited Durham and Beamish.. Both well worth a visit.
