We hadn't been to Walberswick or Southwold for many years so we decided to rectify this and booked into Lampland House for a couple of nights. The local community bus picked us up from Saxmundham station and dropped outside the guest house - brilliant service! We were greeting by Stephanie who was the perfect hostess and then shown to our... More

We had a lovely time. The welcome was great and Stephanie and Johnny were the perfect hosts. The breakfasts (back on Weightwaters now) were well cooked and used local produce. The decor is calming. Our only thought - which we shared with Stephanie and Johnny - was that we were both too short to see in the bathroom mirror!

We spent four nights in this B and B and had both rooms for the duration of our stay. We arrived at the appointed time and met Stephanie who, along with her husband Johnny, provided a warm welcome then and throughout our stay. Our rooms were spotless and comfortable. (If you need a lot of space, then go for the... More

We were delighted with our visit. Stephanie and Johnny both made us feel very welcome. They were chatty and welcoming and offered advice about the local area and eateries. Even before our arrival, Steph had suggested possibilities for eating out and offered to make bookings for us. We had a lovely large room with en-suite shower room. The room had... More

We spent two nights in this wonderful part of the country, and booked both the rooms - the twin and the double. The breakfasts were fantastic, and the couple who own the B and B are charming and helpful. It is a beautiful and fantastically clean house, which is designed with the utmost care. The owners serve fresh local food... More

I would have rather given the money to a charity we were in the room for all of one hour. it was so small you couldnt breathe. No sign of the owners we had to call a neighbour to let us in. If you dont spend 18 hours a day outside you will struggle as there is no where and... More

Our home is run as a B&B, not a guest house with separate lounge area and no where on the website does it give this impression. We expect our guests to be out exploring this fabulous part of the countryside and with so much to see and do in the area, we struggle to wonder why people want to sit... More

On arrival, there was know one to meet us despite being told that the room would be available fron 16:30. The Twin room really is very small ( the width of two... More

We can honestly say this is the best place we have ever stayed. Stephanie and Johnny are the perfect hosts - attentive but relaxed, friendly and welcoming. The rooms are beautifully furnished with fresh, bright New - England decor and lots of lovely artistic touches. It is immaculate and super-clean without being forbidding. Breakfast is excellent, with plenty of choice,... More
