Stayed here for one night while over for a friends engagement party. Rooms were spotless. TV, tea and coffee making facilities. Beds were very comfy. Breakfast was very tasty. Sue was very friendly and welcoming. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I experienced my worst stay at this bedsit. The place was smelly, very small and noisy in the early hours of the morning. Overall i would suggest staying at another hotel. The reviews about this hotel are very misleading.

I thought the Chelmer was ideal for my stay. Although it is relatively small, it is perfectly clean, tidy and comfortable. Sue, the landlady is lovely and very welcoming. She will go out of her way to help you and serves tasty food for breakfast too! The beds were comfy, and generally my stay was very pleasant. Enjoy!
