I was taken here as a surprise for my birthday (by my husband and 2 children (2 & 4 yrs old) and absolutely loved it. We were lucky enough to stay in one of the treehouses (Sycamore) which are less than a year old and beautifully designed. They really provide a unique experience and Chewton Glen has done many things... More

I booked a one night stay as a surprise for my Wife's 40th Birthday. I was going to book a suite, but when I saw the treehouses I knew they would be perfect. I called reception and found them extremely helpful. Booking the room was easy. I booked a Treehouse spa break that included a hamper breakfast, lunch in the... More

We stayed for one 24-hour period taking advantage of a last-minute half-price offer on one of the suites. The room was spacious, comfortable, well-equipped (e.g. 3 TVs!) and generously stocked with (free) water, sparkling wine, chocs, fruit as well as nice bathroom soaps. The pool is very large, very pleasant to swim in, and not heavily used; there are lavish... More

We recently went for the 'Lazy Sunday' day spa option at Chewton Glen. It is a truly beautiful venue- we were lucky with the weather with sparkling sunshine so it looked even more splendid. The spa day was well organised and good value. We had a brunch box on arrival, complimentary drinks (excluding alcohol) and afternoon tea, a therapy and... More

Had heard about Chewton glen and finally decided to spend the night. Service, hotel, room, food all were excellent. It costs but its worth it. Hard to find - we drove around at night for almost 30 minutes as it's location is not well marked but worth the wait. Worth the splurge.

We have just returned from a very relaxing family weekend at Chewton Glen. The accommodation, both in the Treehouses and in the main building is of a very high standard. All the rooms that we saw were decorated in a modern, elegant and relaxed style. Most of the hotel facilities were used at one time or other throughout our stay... More

We stayed at Chewton Glen last weekend for one night and had a fantastic time. We had previously stayed there a few years ago and the service seems to have got even better. The restaurant. Vetiver, has definitely improved both in decor and food. We had booked via the BA website and got a very reasonable price, room only. When... More

We have just returned home after a fantastic two day break, that exceeded our expectations in every way. We stayed for two nights in a junior suite (No 49) with a lovely view overlooking the grounds at the rear of the hotel. On arrival, we were escorted to our room and shown all the features and the numerous nice touches, including... The treehouses really are amazing chill out zones, and almost worth the exorbitant prices (c'mon £1500 for 2 nights B&B?! :-) However, for that price you justifiably expect amazing service too...well it was lacking in some respects, although the service in Vetiver restaurant was good and the sommelier was really good. So what was lacking? There is complimentary golf buggy... More
