Beautiful country house in gorgeous surroundings with intresting history. I took my mother here for a birthday treat, we dined in the restaurant, food was wonderful. Staff were very attentive and friendly. Room and en-suite were spotlessly clean. We stayed in a ground floor twin room with lovely sumptuous beds and endless views of the gardens. Lovely, warm homely atmosphere.... More

We stayed in this hotel for 2 nights, honestly the view surrounding the hotel itself is very beautiful but nothing else could be appreciated. There are some nice staff but some of the staff members are 2 faced, you can say the gesture was not genuine. Please check the prices of the restaurant as there are no prices on the... More

So glad you considered langrish ''very beautiful''. No one has ever questioned staff genuineness! Endless comments suggest warmth and true friendliness. Menus are fixed price and, to be frank, openly and clearly stated not only in all the bedrooms, but also on the restaurant menus and in Reception. In the separate historic Vaults and Bar guests may eat very reasonably... More

We enjoyed our 2 night stay away from the stresses of life, it was a peaceful and stress free stay. The new vault bar was very atmospheric. We hope to return soon. All in all a great break away.

My first experience of Langrish House was in March when I was invited to speak at the hotel's annual Italian week. Before my talk I enjoyed a marvellous Italian-themed meal, delicious wines and deserts and wonderful company. It was all so lovely I wanted my husband to enjoy it too, so last week we visited for lunch. The grounds are... More

We booked today for an early valentines lunch and what a fantastic place. We are not local to Langrish House but decided it was worth the drive out to see what it was like. The food and service were second to none. Fantastic value and well presented! Staff were friendly and very helpful.

It's a deliberately old-fashioned establishment in a lovely building. If that was as far as it went, it would be twee and unexceptional, but circumstances conspire (i.e. management) to make a visit very different to the average. Each room is different, and they's upstairs / downstairs / round the corner. For the first ten minutes or so you might want... More
