I stayed here for one night whilst away on business and found Ann the owner most welcoming and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable and provided shampoos, hairdryer and a well stocked tea/coffee tray. Plenty of parking and convenient location for the town. Breakfast was very tasty and served promptly.

we have just stayed for 5 days at heather house,the welcome we had was second to none the breakfast you have was in one word EXCELLENT the bedroom we had was very clean and the hosts could not be faulted in any way, Ann even went out of her way to google maps for us,a excellent place to stay

Excellent hospitality, generous breakfast, caring & informative owners, clean, comfortable, ample parking all makes for a great New Forest base.

The worst welcome I’ve ever had from a hotel reception!!! As soon as we came through the door the manager said “if I knew you had a baby I wouldn’t give you the room” and then we were told not to let our 1 year old cry! No wonder the Hotel was the only vacant one around the area!
