We stayed in Holly Lodge for a week in Aug 2011, in the 3 bdrm cottage which is part of Arboyne House - with a teenage daughter and an adult son. This surpassed all our expectations! We wanted historic and quaint, and we certainly got it, but with enough room so that we weren't on top of each other. The... More

We found the Arboyne House with it's seperate two story cottage very roomy complete with full kitchen and lounge with fireplace. The owners treated us like family and provided us with a beautiful breakfast and... More

Fourth stay at Arboyne House and as ever we were delighted by it. Friendly welcome from Peter and Marysia and great breakfasts cooked by Jo made a short break into a perfect weekend. Meals next door in the Tram Inn are even better than we remembered from previous visits and the local beers are excellent too. Felt like locals from... More

A lovely place to stay at a very reasonable price with very friendly hosts and gorgeous breakfasts in very attractive village. Marysia is also an artist who makes beautiful patchwork quilts which are a pleasure to look at.

We can't recommend Arboyne house and its surroundings highly enough for anyone looking for a country break. Pete and Marysia gave us the warmest welcome and were always helpful and on hand. The cottage is upstairs, comfortable and cosy and the gardens very pretty. It's an excellent staging post for all sorts of trips in the area. We'd recommend the... More

Great location next to a lovely old pub that serves good beer. Good walking and cycling nearby and close to Hereford for amenities if necessary. Lovely building full of character - great hosts also. Would love to go back!

I had the pleasure of staying in this cozy Hereford cottage for New Years Eve 2008. What attracted me to the area was the idea of being in a quaint, typically-English village, just a stones throw away from a local pub. I was pleasantly surprised to find all of the above, plus great hospitality from the owners, comfortable beds and... More

We really enjoyed our stay at Arboyne house, it is a lovely house and we were very comfortable there. The owners were very friendly. It is located ideally near two pubs and has plenty of interesting local sights and things to do nearby and is surrounded by lovely walking areas to breathe in the nice country air. The house itself... More
