When you walk in the door of this place, you might be inclined to walk right back out agin. Don't! The service is friendly and efficient and the food is very good indeed. You'll be pleasantly surprised by the bill too. Give it a go. I think you'll be glad you did.

We had great beer and wonderful food - perfect for two foot weary and hungry walkers. This pub is full of character. I thoroughly recommend it - do not miss!
