We have just spent two lovely nights in this delightful old country inn. Our hosts were really friendly and helpful, filling us in on where to go and places to see. We stopped here for a meal while on holiday nearby. Wednesday night is steak night. It was lovely steak and really good value. Perfectly cooked. Restaurant surroundings also lovely. Would go back again.

Spent a night here last night, huge bed, fantastic shower, wonderful pub and wow, an amazing meal in the restaurant. Fab nights sleep followed by a wonderful breakfast, friendly hosts. Will be back soon folks !!

Spent many nights here whilst employed by a local company for three and a half years. I'm a firm believer in having at least as good food, hygiene and comfort when staying away as I would at home. Stayed here for short break freindley place ideal for a relaxing time.rooms spacious and clean.everything you need.lovely meals and excellant breakfast would happily stay again.prices for dining very reasonable and a nice warm fire to sit by.and wifi is offered.only down side if your on orange you can, t pick up the net work.

A pleasant pub with comfortable, well appointed rooms. Food in the restaurant was good. The room was in an annex building and the door opened directly to the car park. This really is a great place to stay over. Only problem was a little confused on arrival as the inn was closed and no notice advising how to contact owner. Accommodation fine although the carpet was grubby on entrance to the room (my wife pointed this out immediately) We didn't realise the rooms were an annexe a little way from the pub and not the friendliest or enthusiastic welcome on arrival. Pub and grub good, breakfast OK. A little underwhelmed really. Perhaps would not rate as 4*

Treated ourselves to Christmas lunch out this year,we were not disappointed !!. The hosts Richard and Susan could not have made us feel more welcome ,the food was outstanding ,we were made to feel like one of the family. We will definitely be going back.
