My husband and I stayed for a long weekend as we were attending a family wedding nearby. Lovely warm welcome on arrival and our room was fantastic with a big four poster bed and lovely touches, a box of chocolates and homemade cookies! We slept really well considering its located next to a busy road. Both mornings we were presented... More

We have just returned from a lovely weekend being looked after by David and Marde in the beautiful surroundings of Crossways. The very first impression is the property seems a little tired but after about four and a half minutes you realise it's not tired its cosy, welcoming, warm and has a great history as does the rest of the... I was extremely well looked after here from the small touches of chocolates and home baking in the rooms right through to the fine decorations of this large and beautiful Edwardian home. I slept extremely well in a big comfy bed and was thrilled with the beautifully cooked and presented breakfast. David and Marde certainly look after their guests extremely... More

We stayed here whilst attending a wedding at albert cottage. We stayed in the rooms in the outbuildings, they were lovely rooms with bathrooms, tea/coffee facilities, wardrobes, table and chairs etc. All very clean and tidy. Beds were really comfy, bedding was good quality and we had a great nights sleep. The owners left homemade biscuits each day in the... More

I'm delighted that my work means I am once again able to stay at Crossways for several nights over the spring and summer. As soon as I arrive I am greeted like an old friend by Dave and Marde and brought tea and freshly baked cookies in the bar - or in the beautiful garden if the weather is fine.... More

Place to stay when in Cowes. It is a quiet place, soft beds, clean rooms and lovely owners. Breakfast is superb with good quality products. Stayed there for dinner and it is very nice too. So if you don't feel like looking for a pub, then you have a great option too.

Fantastic room - 4 poster bed! My third visit and standards are exactly the same as the first two. You can't go wrong here - great welcome, room and the best breakfast you are likely to find anywhere.

We recently had our second stay at Crossways House. We had one of the garden rooms which was very comfortable and well equiped with tea coffee and home made biscuits and the bathroom had plenty of toiletries. Friends joined us for dinner and the food was excellent. There is also a comfortable lounge and bar area. Next morning we had... More

We stayed two nights in mid march and received a very warm welcome from Marde and Dave who both made us feel at home. The accommodation was excellent and the food was amazing. A refreshing and unexpected gem on the Isle of Wight. Highly recommended.
