Sorrento Lodge is an outstandingly good B&B. The rooms are immaculate, spacious and very comfortable. The amazing hot drinks selection and supply of assorted biscuit packs in the room are exceptional. Breakfast in the dining room is first class too. A massive array of excellent food is available and the 'full english' is massive and very well cooked indeed. We... More

This is the second time we have stayed here. The family room is great and spacious. There is a brilliant selection of drinks and biscuits and because it was Easter we got Easter goodies on the pillows. Nothing was too much trouble and the breakfast selection is extensive. Fab location for the beach as well. We'll be back.

We stayed at Sorrento Lodge with our almost two year old daughter for two nights, and had a brilliant weekend. Greeted with a friendly, warm welcome, stayed in a fantastic family room - separate (attached) bedroom areas for parents and children, a spotlessly clean bathroom, fresh and clean bed linen and towels, amazing complimentary toiletries and tea, coffee, and hot... I stayed one night in the first week of Jan 2013, with my cousin who is from Barcelona. I had read the one bad review by the ditsy Canadian people and was a little anxious that my cousin might be cold overnight, but I need not have worried The whole place was toasty warm, spotlessly clean, spacious and welcoming. This was by far the best B&B I have stayed in. I stayed with my two young boys and having read the review of the couple who said they had no heating I am very surprised as we were there the same time as them (I saw them leaving) and can say at no point were my children or myself... More

Our first trip to the Isle of Wight was made so special and memorable by our lovely stay at the Sorrento Lodge. The accomodation is amazing and we really felt at home there. The staff were very friendly and so welcoming and we will certainly return. P.S. The breakfasts were amazing!

I live on the IoW and have had 2 sets of guests stay at the Sorrento Lodge while visiting us. Both have given excellent feedback about it, saying that it's better than most 5 star hotels they've stayed in - well presented rooms, lovely touches, excellent breakfasts and generally very comfortable and acccomodating. Will definitely use again and recommend to... More

My friend and I stayed at this B & B in late October for our first night in the Isle of Wight. We checked in 4:30 pm to a cold room. When I attempted to turn on the heat, I got no respsonse from the heater. I went downstairs and enquired as to how to work the heaters and was... More

I don't normally reply to comments but feel that this one is very unfair. I believe that the room did not heat as it normally does, due to the fact that the two ladies had (in an attempt to turn them on) actually turned the radiators right down. On checking the room after their departure, we found that all three... More

I treated the wife to a night at the Sorrento Lodge - Room 8 - Honeymoon Suite and it was so worth the extra money. Fantastic sea views (even better with the in room telescope!) luxurious sofa and armchair, large flat screen TV and an amazing bathroom complete with power shower and large Jacuzzi bath. Location is perfect, short walk... More
