Located 10 mins walk from Hythe seafront and right on the high street, this hotel is clean convenient and good value. Rooms cleaned each day, T.V with no tuning issues and a comfy bed. Just what you need really. For a bit more luxury (posher soaps etc) then head to the Hythe Mercure at double the price. For value.. couldn't... More

Good parking at the rear of the hotel. Located in the centre of Hythe which was fab for the wedding we were attending. Breakfast was good. Beds were uncomfortable and the hot water in the shower took 10 minutes to heat up. The TV was also playing up. However the room was fine for our purpose and the staff were... More

We booked a family room at the Swan, then read the reviews on Tripadvisor, so were a bit apprehensive before we arrived, but we loved the place. No, it's not 5* luxury, but the welcome was very warm and all of the staff charming, helpful and gracious. Our room was clean and spacious, as was the bathroom. We ate in... More

We had an evening meal and the foot (Nepalese) was extremely good. You also get a 15% discount in the restaurant if you are a resident. The room was ok, but there was very little storage and you have to run the tap for ages to get any hot water. The hotel is extremely convenient for the Channel Tunnel (10mins... More

Thank goodness I was not staying in the middle of winter, the hotel does not have central heating and after a cold wet April day this was not welcome. The only heat was from a small electric heater which could not cope with the large room. The bed was comfortable but also did not give any warmth with only one... More

The only good thing about this hotel is the location - middle of Hythe. The staff were unfriendly, almost to the point of being rude. Communications with the staff were difficult due to their very strong accents. Clear impression that they just wanted my money and to give as little service as possible. The hotel itself was tired and the... More
