Visiting Whitstable for an Easter break, we found that all the most highly rated B&Bs were already booked. No surprise. The Gallery House provided a satisfactory alternative. As noted by another reviewer, it's really just a place to stay rather than a bed and breakfast, but our room was very clean and quiet. The owner has clearly designed the place... More

We come to Whitstable a lot but only found Gallery House buy chance. We had such a nice stay we will not be staying anywhere else from now on. The rooms a very clean and nicely done, and have all you need for a weekend stay. It's so close to the town and sea front which makes it easy to... More

Booked in for only one night, but ended up staying for the weekend with my partner. Room was beautiful, with all the amenities we needed. Very quiet and relaxing with a great view of the beautiful garden. It was very chilled out, just off the main high street and seconds from the pubs and restaurants. Will stay there again very... The en suite bathroom is more of a cupboard than a bathroom which is a fantastic example of space management but makes it difficult to shower without cracking your elbows on the sides, plus no shampoo in the shower. There is no communal space in the b&b so if you opt for breakfast (at an extra charge) you have to... More

Nice place, friendly owners who offer lots of advice and nice stories. Breakfast is optional and can be either toast and jam and butter or a bigger, more luxurious one. We liked this - after two days of English breakfasts, just toast and marmalade was quite enough for us. The b&b is close to the station. Though there's both a... More

A lot of care and attention has certainly gone into decorating the rooms at the Gallery House - light, spotlessly clean, airy and modern, our room was a pleasure to stay in. There are three bedrooms (2 doubles and a single) on the first floor of a detached house, off a small landing. Our double had a shower and hand-basin... More

Stayed at the "Gallery House" in Whitstable for a few days in the late summer. We only saw the owner once on arrival when we were asked to pay upfront and to leave the keys when we left. Breakfast could have been arranged and left in the fridge in your room to eat at your leisure but we opted out... More
