“Decent Hotel with good staff”

“Good Hotel”

Stayed here for 1 night, food was fantastic, bed was comfortable. My only complaint was in my room the bathroom left a lot to be desired and the shower was pointless, I would have got a better shower standing out in the rain. I would stay again but not in room number 2.

“Lovely from the outside just needs more cleaning inside and the bar prices are extortionate which makes you want to book elsewhe”

The overall look of the hotel is lovely but the things which spoil it are the inside cleanliness and the VERY expensive bar prices. Would not book an event here based on these 2 reasons. The grounds are lovely and the staff were polite and helpful which is an improvement from my last stay.

“Local Hotel with history and style”

Being the nearest "decent" hotel, the Dunk (as it is referred to locally) offers good quality rooms, an excellent restaurant and superbe spa. The ideal place for a romantic get away from the kids for birthdays, anniversary's or just a night away.

A quality hotel in nice grounds, have stayed many times and will continue to come to it. The first time I had stayed in the exexutive wing, quite a walk from reception but well fitted out room could do with a porter for older couples.
