Stayed there on a business trip while working in the local area. Once again with Travelodge, you get what you pay for, rooms are basic, but clean and warm. The lack of remote controls is a bit of a pain, apparently people keep stealing them. The hotel is on the service area above a McDonalds and Co-op. Parking is free but... More

The place gives the impression of being run at minimal cost, light bulbs not working, TV with buttons / remote missing, cleaning to the minimum, etc. Strangely, however, the heating in the coridors seems to be on max whatever the weather. The staff are always friendly and helpful but seem to be under pressure to do more with less. I try... More

Booking on line was long winded and painful. The staff were friendly and accomodating but the room looked like it had just had a quick once over the carpets were really stained and if someone had Bern staying on the pull out sofa I think they would have rather not. Good location and plenty of places to eat. Felt that... More

I arrived at around 11pm a little confused because the website said free parking but there were pay & display signs everywhere. Once I had parked up and headed over to the travel lodge I found it was Locked up (not unexpected due to the time) The receptivity took just long enough to turn up after pressing the buzzer to... I have stayed here 4 times now and due to stay again next Jan........It is just off the motorway with a shop (sainsburys) and petrol station on the same site. Very handy for Ewood Park to watch Blackburn Rovers and its just a bit further into Blackburn town centre.....I try to get a room round the back of the building... More

This hotel is a standard Travelodge and you know what you are going to get. We stayed at this one as we were attending a match at Blackburn Rovers' Ewood Park, and it was only about a 15mins walk with a couple of pubs on the way. The hotel room itself was fine, good shower, tea and coffee making facilities... More

We booked two nights, Thursday & Friday so we could visit our daughter. Staff were friendly enough, but seemed over-stretched. In the room, there were four 'occasional' lights, three which didn't even have bulbs in & one of the main lights flickered constantly. Despite asking, they weren't replaced. My wife & I, both in our fifties have short, grey hair,... More

Stayed at this Travelodge whilst visiting relatives. The room was basic but clean (what we expected of a Travelodge). The only negative was that there were 3 adults booked into our room, but the rooms only seem to provide equipment (towels, cups, tea, coffee etc) for 2 people. It would be nice if all adults were catered for. Oh and... More

I'll keep this short and sweet. Having used this hotel for a number of times since it first opened I have watched it go down hill to the point I will no longer use it because I genuinely feel it is becoming dangerous. the fire alamrs have gone off twice in my last three stays, my last stay was greeted...
