We 'booked-out' the Bramblewick last weekend for my friends 40th birthday. WOW! what a fantastic place. My husband and I have stayed on a couple of occasions before and have been more than impressed but I have to say Hayley and Danny have steadily become more and more expert in the fine art of hospitality. The building is quaint and... More

We stayed in RHB for a Saturday evening over Valentines weekend. Despite not buying me a card, my lovely woman treated me to dinner out :) We had tried to get in a Wayfarer as it was near where we were stayed but it was booked as in fact everywhere in the Bay seemed to be. I`d read a lot... More

Myself and my partner stayed here on a Friday and a Saturday night and we couldn't fault it. Hayley, the owner, was the perfect hostess (even bought me a drink and a card when she found out it was my birthday), infact all the staff were great. The B&B is built in the old 17th century bakery and retains all... More

I loved this b&b and definatly going back again sometime. Myself and fiancé went and could not fault. It was clean the people very friendly and location was great. Right in the heart of the village. I loved the fact you could get in from the front or back doors on the street going around it. Easy to nip and... More

We enjoyed the Bramblewick so much last November that we booked again this year. We had a lovely litle studio at the top of the building with a small sitting room, separate bedroom and ensuite shower room. We ate in the restaurant both nights along with some other friends who were staying for the first time. Altogether there were 10... More

Ordered pork fillet. It was served rare and I asked for it to be thoroughly cooked. The waitress informed me that she always enjoyed her pork rare!!! She took it back into the kitchen and when it returned it was no different. When asked how it was, I responded that it was no different. Believing that a further trip to... More

Booked for a surprise birthday pressie for my partner after a week in Cumbria. Was not disappointed. The owners were welcoming and very interested in their guests. The room whilst small, was very comfortable, just what you would expect in a building of this age, if you want space then a stay further up in the Victorian B&Bs might suit... More

Sadly our stay ended up as a bit of nightmare end to a lovely holiday to celebrate my 60th. We left our car (and luggage as it was pouring with rain) at the top of the hill and walked down into the village at about 4.30 to book into the B&B. The cafe was busy and the staff were in... More

I am totally amazed that there could be any negative comments on this unique little B&B because it's quite simply lovely. Yes the rooms are small, reached by a crooked wooden staircase which all just add to the charm. As a complete neat freak with a nicname 'Monica' I thought the whole place was spotless it really was. It's so... More
