A warm welcome from Bruce and Janette. A great couple of nights spent at West Acre House. Nothing too much trouble. Good breakfast selection. Room extremely well co-ordinated and of a great size. Would recommend to anyone and would stay again.

Yet another great stay at West Acre,as always a lovely welcome from Bruce and Jeannette. Spacious rooms, great parking and so good to be able to leave the car and walk into town, restaurants, Alnwick Castle etc. Afternoon tea on arrival always welcome, and excellent choice of breakfast each morning.

A really first class B&B, rooms were a good size and well appointed, beds comfortable, fresh towels daily and great breakfasts. Bruce & Jeannette were extremely hospitable and helpful and the house is situated in a quiet area and provided an ideal location to explore the surrounding area. Parking was easy and their garden was a joy.

Jeannette and Bruce are excellent hosts. Warm and welcoming, they have created a superb house for guests. The breakfast room has beautiful white linen-laid tables, and the breakfasts are perfectly cooked and presented. What more could you want?
