We have just spent three nights in St Cuthbert's and can only confirm what everyone else says that the accommodation is immaculate. Jeff and Jill have thought of absolutely everything (including having fresh milk available for making teas and coffees) to ensure their guests have a truly luxurious experience whist staying in such delightful surroundings. Their professionalism ensures that you... More

Drove up from Kent and stayed for four nights in Jeff & Jill's accommodation and what a treat. Warm friendly welcome, beautifully clean keep rooms, excellent breakfast, making you want to relax from the start. Lots of locations to visit around the area, my wife & I would recommend the painted gallery at Ford, the Mill at Etal also Lindisfarne... More

We spent 4 nights at this stunning b&b. We chose the location for its proximity to the Farne Islands where we spent a great day watching the birds - shags sitting on their nests (some of them feeding their hatchlings), razorbills swapping shifts on their nests, puffins rushing around all over the place and the terns fighting over the best... The birds' activities are wonderful to see at this time of year. And we're glad you appreciated a comfortable bed. We know that several guests have purchased their own after sleeping in it here - which is perhaps the best affirmation! More

I was looking for bed and breakfast accommodation to stay somewhere between Alnwick and Berwick -on -Tweed on the internet and came across St. Cuthberts House, the web site encouraged me to make contact by phone and I was very pleased I did. My initial contact was very friendly and it made me feel that I would be made very... More

Ours was a flying visit but it has whetted our appetite for a return, more leisurely stay. Jeff and Jill were so welcoming and rightly enthusiastic for this wonderful haven. They have created a perfect blend of professional 'polish' and informal friendliness in a warm and welcoming environment. Everything was done to the highest standard, with many thoughtful touches. We hope... More

Jeff and Jill, who own and run St Cuthbert's, are delightful and thoughtful hosts. The rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds extremely comfortable. The en-suite bathrooms are first class. The atmosphere is quiet and tranquil, a sanctuary from any stress. The breakfasts are as substantial as needed and very well presented. We were reluctant and sad to leave as... More

We had a wonderful. restful stay, in not only a beautiful part of the country, but a delightful B & B. Our hosts were welcoming and friendly with nothing too much trouble for them. The en-suite bedroom was beyond comfortable, and a lovely, tastefully decorated lounge and dining room, plus some original features of the old church building, made our... More

Just a 10 minute walk to the beautiful coastline and just a short drive to stunning Alnwick Castle and Alnwick Gardens. Holy Island and Bamburgh Castle are a must see. We only booked for a couple of days and could not viist all the places on our list as there is so much to see. We hope to revisit the... More
