My family and I stayed at The Bakehouse over the Easter period. On arrival we were met by Julie who instantly made us feel welcome, we were shown to the living room and offered a cup of tea and juice for our children. We were also given some very tasty muffins. We were shown to the "Red" room which was... More

Spent one night at The Bakehouse and really enjoyed it. The place is top notch throughout. From the guest "living room" to the bedrooms everything is spotless, comfy and nicely accessorized. It was one of the best B&Bs we stayed in during our two weeks in the UK. Julie was a splendid host. She met us when we arrived and... More

We were kind of lost when trying to book a place to stay at in Seahouses. The town itself is recommended as a nice, quiet place to explore Northumberland from, which we managed to do inside a day, taking in Holy Island, Bamburgh Castle and the Alnwick Castle gardens (as well as a fair bit of Alnwick itself). But most... More

Had a 2 night stay at the Bakehouse recently. Julie and Jim are lovely people, very warm and easy going. We were greeted with fresh coffee and cake by Julie who made us feel very welcome. The room was decorated beautifully as was the lounge and breakfast room which feels very homely. Julie has put great thought into the finishing... More

Stayed 25th-28th March, 2013 We had originally booked three nights but after experiencing a very warm welcome and seeing our room, we fell in love with The Bakehouse, and the following morning after breakfast, we booked an extra night. Julie and Jim are delightfully warm and welcoming. Our room was beautiful, tastefully decorated and relaxing. It didn't feel like we... More

Bedrooms are large and luxurious, everything you need and more is catered for, including fluffy bathrobes and a hot water bottle! We have just returned from a 2 night stay at this beautiful place. Julie the owner could not have done anymore to make our stay any more pleasurable. The bunkhouse has 3 rooms, sleeping 6 in total, we had an ensuite room which had a massive comfortable bed and there was even a hot water bottle in case we got... More

Wonderful, friendly, spotless, relaxing, We could go on & on to compliment this outstanding bed & breakfast!! The location is very central within this small coastal resort. It was a lovely walk from seahouses to Bamburgh castle (2 miles ) along the lovely flat beach. The pubs in the town were also very friendly and all served lovely food, The... More

Just spent a lovely Easter weekend at The Bakehouse. Julie and Jim make a stay there extra special by adding special little touches. Even Easter egg cakes in the room on Easter Sunday! From the welcome, with tea and cake when we arrived, to leaving, their hospitality was amazing. We would definitely stay again if we visit the area.
