We stayed one night at Sebastians because we love the restaurant and decided to travel down from Liverpool for the night. The first room that we were allocated was in the annexe at the back of the hotel. Unfortunately the heating wasn't working so we were (eventually) moved to a room in the main hotel. I must say that the... More

I only stayed here one night and only saw it late at night as my other half had checked us in pre-wedding reception, but what I found was something out of the ordinary. The ability to get a drink at 1.30am was a delight, and the spotlessly clean room wasn't like a hotel room, more a very nice room in... More

What a lovely place to stay. Arrived on a damp Friday to a warm welcome. The room we were given was nicely decorated, spotlessly clean and being offered a jug of fresh milk for our tea/coffee was a nice touch, no plastic cartons of milk here! Breakfast was lovely, fresh everything, good quality local produce. Nothing was to much trouble.... More

Small and friendly with it's own individual style. Staying just the one night was worth it for the breakfast alone. The perfect way to start a lazy Saturday. Only niggle was the extensive building works, these are due to be completed soon so don't let that put you off, we would certainly return.

Oswestry is still a thriving border market town, despite the loss of the Cambrian Railways HQ. But, whilst there are several hotels and restaurants with rooms, there's nowhere quite like Sebastians. In the town centre, with very little street parking, they have their own small car-park round the corner (directions needed). A warm welcome. Our room was across the courtyard... More

We have just returned from Sebastians and had the most wonderful stay. We stayed here for our wedding night and wanted it to be extra special. We were not disappointed!! Lovely welcome, fantastic room with all the trimmings. Dinner was delicious, everything cooked to perfection.
