We stayed at Three Queens Hotel for a 2 night KGB break. The room was lovely, lovely fluffy white towels in bathroom and comfortable bed. The evening meals were delicious and very well presented. Breakfasts were also good with plenty choice. The staff were excellent very friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend this hotel.

This place is a dump. Walls and floors are paper thin and the staff argues back with guests when they hear complaints. I could not sleep in my last night there due to the uncontrollable noise coming from the bar right below my room, the staff is helpless. No wonder the place is in bankruptcy.

Just back from staying here and my husband and myself had a wonderful time, the food, both breakfast and evening was delicious and the waiting staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was clean and comfortable with a decent sized bathroom. Only a short walk from town and a lovely riverside walk.

Spent a few days in Burton upon Trent recently for a private visit. I chose to book the Three Queens Hotel because of its location near the city center. The hotel is a very old building with a lot of British charm, maybe friends of modern hotel buildings feel unhappy here. The facilities of the two rooms I booked fit... More

The only thing in favor of this hotel is its location, very close to the city center. The rooms are extremely old with poor heating/cooling and creaky floors. Decor is very outdated too. All of this could be forgiven if the bed was inviting, but no, it was like sleeping on a medieval bed. Sheets and blankets had holes in... More

My husband announced that we were booked in for the Valentine Evening with a crowd of friends. We arrived to a very warm welcome from attentive staff. Our "room" was a little house with upstairs bedroom and downstairs lounge with covered court yard and water feature. Very cosy. Drinks in the bar followed by a superb meal. Georgeous dining room... Late booking for "Valentine" evening with accomodation. Greeted by very polite, smartly dressed staff who advised us we had been upgraded to "Elizabeth" suite which was excellant, but like most hotels 1 lamp out in main room and 1 lamp out in bathroom, not proffesional, also bathroom ceiling was a bit "tatty" in one place. Only downside being on arrival... More
