The Kings Arms is a fine looking, well kept, period building that backs on to the Hampton Court maze and is just across the road from the open spaces of Bushy Park. Regular buses stop outside taking you to Kingston from where you can catch trains to Waterloo and, for the rugby fan, Twickenham. The inside is comfortable and welcoming,... More

Just arrived back from Hampton Court, where we stayed at The Kings arms for 2 nights. There were 6 of us, so I had pre booked 3 rooms. My husband and I were allocated the smallest of the rooms, Room 4 Anne of Cleeve's room, on the first floor with and high window at the back. The room looked tired... More

Good size en-suit room with comfortable bed over old Inn. Full English breakfast was excellent as was the evening meal. Great access to Bushy Park and Hampton Court.

We stayed in the hotel for two nights as we were attending a wedding near by. We couldn't fault the location as it was within walking distance of the venue. The land lady wasn't the most welcoming. We had issues with payments, as our debit cards were foreign. She was neither polite nor discreet about the issue. She was quick... More

stayed here with large group of family and friends for a nearby wedding at easter. I thought our room old fashioned and overpriced. We all ate together one night and the food came randomly and was cold. They couldnt cope with the numbers. The next morning they ran out of bacon. Is there no shop nearby?? Badly prepared. Also the... More

Extremely comfortable bed and the bathroom was clean and modern fixtures. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The location is ideal for Hampton Court. Could use a bit of dusty in the pub in some corners, but the food was good and the beer choices were excellent. The breakfast selection was really good, with a menu to choose from along... More

Went to Hampton court for a dear friend's wedding and chose this hotel for distance reason. But it was a very good choice!! It's right next to the beautiful Hampton court palace, bus stop right outside the hotel, where has freqent buses to Kingston ( 5 mins ride) or take a relaxing boat ride from Hampton court palace river side... We stayed here for two nights in Feb 2012. Allocated Anne of Cleaves room which was dingy, small and had a very high window. It badly needed decorating. There was no table or chairs and no bedside table or light on one side.Internet was patchy, and the socket to plug my laptop in was inaccesable behindthe bedside table.Lighting was very... More

My colleague and I stayed here for 2 nights in the deluxe double rooms. It's not often that you get to stay somewhere so different when travelling and I can happily confirm that a Four Poster bed and historical furniture really make you feel like you are staying somewhere special, not just one of the homogeneous global chains. The public... More

Lunch visit with a friend, ordered 2 rolls, pint of bitter and bitter shandy, came to over eighteen pounds which i think is to much. the drinks were fine but the rolls were nothing special. I'll strike this one off my list, I won't be making a return visit.
