As the title says, you get what you pay for really. The room was ok for the price, the bed was ok to sleep in. The room was clean but there was abit of smell in the bathroom, but wasn't that bad that it needed to be complained about. You need to pay £5 for an overnight ticket on the... More

We stay in quite a few travel lodges and they are fine as a very cheap base when you have kids. We always ignore the carpet stains and cope with the dodgy hoovering BUT this place is unacceptable for young families and may even be a case for trade descriptions to get involved in.We went to Chessington world of adventures... no-one goes to a traveldoge for the 'wow' factor! We stay in them all of the time as a cheap and adequate base. me, hubby and 2 children aged 10 & 13 spent 3 nights over easter here and couldnt fault it, as a base for chessington world of adentures and a day in london. Yes its in a big... More

It is the most revolting hotel I have had occasion to visit. Easter Sunday 8th April for one night to be close to friend's daughter's engagement party. In the event we did not even stay overnight but used the room to change and left for home after the party at around midnight mainly because we could not face sleeping on... More

An absolutely awful experience.. The rooms are tiny, the pillow, yes one per person,is equivalent to a jiffy bag. No mattress cover. Dead skin cells on the bed. There is one hand towel and one bath towel for two people to share. The TV is marginally bigger than the screen on my cell phone and there is no remote control.... More

Very dirty rooms, our bed had vomit on it!!! In desperate need of a refurb. Should be shut down.,Breakfast was surprisingly good. Cooked food plentifull and fresh. Toast, cereals juices etc. Staff very nice, its not their fault that they work in such a filthy hotel. Overall...avoid like the plague. Pay a bit more and stay in somewhere where you... More

I have stayed here many times when on family trips, to visit friends, + business, it is brilliant value for money. Clean, quiet. Very helpful. The breakfast buffet is excellent value but can get very busy so get in there early or late but we found in between times really hectic. This area is perfect for touring London Town my... More

I booked 2 nights as a bargain london break for half term with the kids. I was worried after reading the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised. The location is great for getting to london on the train. Station only 5 minutes walk away. Day pass ticket to London under a tenner. We parked on the road outside to avoid... More

Yes I know its a budget hotel , but budget shouldnt mean you have to put up with dirty accomadation and poor service. We had booked a 3 day stay and thankfully we only spent the minimum time in this dreadfull hotel. Housekeeping was terrible, double room with only one bath towel !!, had to go to reception to ask... Goldilocks and her husband booked a room to save travelling back from a Valentines night meal. Goldilocks arrived first and was given a warm greeting from the front desk and assigned a room. On entering the room Goldilocks thought perhaps it hadn't been cleaned as the bed was a little in disarray. She went downstairs to purchase some goods from... More
