Although the rooms from the exterior looked very run down, the rooms interior was very cosy, had everything my family needed and was very comfortable. The staff were very friendly, polite and bent over backwards to make sure we were happy and comfortable though out our stay. We had a carvery for dinner which was very cheap. The food was... More

We enjoyed our stay at the Longshoot. It's fair to say the rooms are a bit dated, but for what we paid we felt we'd received good value for money. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. Very impressed by the standard of food and again the fantastic value! Staff were friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay there again.... More

Upon arrival we wanted to leave! We had booked one night stay via laterooms.com the price was £28.00 on the website but £34.00 upon checking in. That was eventually when the receptionist found our booking. Booked under my partners name and on his card yet they had my name on the booking...(i'm curious)! We got our room key (room 7)... More

This is our fourth visit to this Hotel, we come from Essex and meet northern friends and family almost halfway. On every occasion we have visited our rooms have been clean and the staff ultra friendly and helpful. Yes, it needs some more money spent on it but already it has improved a lot since our visit last year. The... More

We arrived around 7.30pm to a packed carpark and discovered later it was the £3.50 carvery which was the big attraction, Reception was locked but the intercom connected us to the bar/restaurant and after a few minutes some came and booked us in.Judging by the full car park I asked should we book for dinner which is when we found... Stayed for one night whilst on a visit to see family in Nuneaton. Granted the place doesn't look the best from the outside, but inside the rooms are ok. It was £25 for a night, you can't expect the Ritz for that price. It did it's job for half the price of a Travel Lodge.

I booked this mainly because it was cheap and because it was not far from the F1 where we were going. As soon as we arrived my husband started complaining as it was in bad disrepair. The receptionist was lovely and did tell us about a large fishing party that had arrived. We got to our room and my heart just sank.It... More

Group booking for two nights at full price. Was very annoyed that we were given a Z-bed for the second person in what was supposed to be a twin occupancy room. A Z-bed is offered as a freebie for a child. The receptionist was not very helpful an eventually a duty manager offered an alternate room. If we had booked... More
