The Spa may look wonderful from the outside, but try peaking behind closed doors and the handles will come off in your hand. Try to have a shower you'll find a sign saying 'out of order', or the water temperature erratic. Turn on a tap and it'll fall on your foot. The gym has out of date equipment and machines... More

We stayed here overnight as a birthday spa weekend for my mum and I. On arrival, there is certainly a wow factor both in the hotel and the SPA. Nothin was too much trouble at this hotel and the room was cute, with twin poster beds and a wood burning fire. The dinner was included with the price of the... More

We have just returned to London after a very special weekend break at Baliffscourt. We stayed in a feature Room called Maunsbroke which had its own fire and roll top bath - really beautiful, warm and cosy. The room was not flash so don't expect mod-cons, but everything was charming, old, polished, and individual. We opened the windows every night... More

This review is for the spa only as I haven't tried the hotel yet. We went to the spa at the end beginning of March for a relaxing treat - and it did the trick! The setting is very beautiful, quiet and secluded; it feels like you're in the middle of nowhere. As soon as you opened the door you... More

This is a well manicured hotel and spa. It is secluded in a wonderful setting with an air of charm. The service and attention of the staff is very good. The cosy sitting rooms are welcoming and warm...the log fires dotted around are very inviting. You can expect an enjoyable few days using the high quality facilities. The food in... More

Booked Bailiffs Court after a few recommendations as we were in Brighton the night before and fancied an evening away with some spa-style relaxation. The drive was about 45mins with no problems. What you might like... =============== On the spa, BC did not disappoint. We booked up massages for the Monday morning at the same time and whilst my wife... More

I booked my wife in here for a day of pampering at the Spa and then a wonderful meal for the pair of us to take her mind away from the death of her mother. The Spa was brilliant, they did all I asked and more. They made her feel special and helped my plans works out, presenting her her... More

We came for my wife's birthday - a special treat and we brought our children (adults) and grandson. Overall it was a lovely two days with good food, some excellent wines and very friendly and helpful dining room and bar staff. It was not cheap but this was, for us, a one-off so was worth the cost. The spa and... More
