I live in Petworth and know from what i see and here this is the most popular places in the area. The staff and food are great and it has a nice atmosphere. I would always recommend it to any visitors. They always tell you to go where the locals go and this is where they go.

We stayed at the Angel Inn in Petworth after a wedding in the area and we had a wonderful stay. The bed in our room was extremely comfortable and the bathroom very high tech! The staff very very helpful and gave great recommendations for dinner when the restaurant downstairs was full. I would definately go again!

20 of us enjoyed Sunday lunch. Excellent Roast beef, pork and lamb and those who had the fish pie raved about it. We were all well looked after and would come back again. Drinks are well priced. Good atmosphere.

We stayed had a 1 night stay at the Angel Inn and our stay was faultless. Everything was excellent especially the food. We would certainly recommend this place to our friends and family and we would definitely stay there again.

The Angel is in the centre of the pretty town of Petworth. It is always busy with people dinning or dringing. The reason it is busy is it is good. The food is excellent, the atmosphere great and the service friendly and efficient. If you are in the area this is a great place to spend an evening.

Probably the best pint, meal, wine, atmosphere and service we have ever experienced and we eat out on a regular basis. This is a true find.....well worth a visit if you enjoy fine food and wonderful service. It's also a clean and beautiful building which is modern and sympathetic to it's old charm. WELL WORTH A VISIT!!!
