This place proves that publicans who go out of business only have themselves to blame. Despite being off the beaten track without a car park, Horseguards is always heaving. The food, atmosphere and service is always superb. I just hope they can keepit up because it looks like hard work!

Literally cannot say anything bad about the pub. Food amazing, drinks amazing, decor amazing, beautiful part of the world, wonderfully friendly staff. Will be back next year for our wedding anniversary again, but won't be able to wait that long to visit :)

I took my girlfriend here for a birthday lunch after a walk in Petworth Park. To be honest we couldn't fault it at all. Great food (good portions), friendly service and at a reasonable cost. We will be coming here again!

Having been in this trade ourselves for some time, my wife and I were just blown away with everything about this Inn. The food was amazing! Rooms, spacious and spotless. Great pub, terrific food, excellent wine list. Warm, welcoming atmosphere, no stupid uniforms or standing on ceremony. It's a dining pub. for sure but you'd be very happy stopping by for a pint. I struggle to think of a better dining pub, and I've certainly been in a few.
