I could not believe that there was such a thing as an internal room WITHOUT a window but that is what we were allocated by being told that it was less noisy than others because of the hotel being situated on the Highway. The only light in our room came from a passage way but one needed to keep the... More

Great place, full of charm and the staff went out their way to make us feel at home. The restaurant was wonderful, overall I would highly recommend this is the best place we have ever stayed. Thankyou

The warmth, character and charm of both staff and place, outshines hands down, the generic concrete experience of some Hotels. We loved our experience and would recommend it to anyone. Susie and Mark November, 2011

We always find St Mounts to be almost a home away from home, comfortable, friendly, great food, friendly staff nothings to much trouble. My partner travels overseas and within Australia and Asia Pacific he always comments on how much he enjoys the restaurant and the food is as good as and sometimes much better than some of the top restaurants.... I would just like to warn anyone thinking of staying in one of the so called quaint old cottages with this hotel. The cottage was damp as if it had not been let for a while and whilst it was clean and tidy there is certainly no way this a 4.0+star property!! The heaters didn't work the wood for the... More

We returned to the Blue Mountains for a 3 night stay over the public holiday weekend for our 25th anniversary celebration. We booked the King Suite with spa - which appeared to have a lot of old world charm and private seclusion from the advertising. We were extremely disappointed as having booked a spa room - the SPA DID NOT... More

The decor and ambience generally has been well described in other posts. Stayed one night in the king spa room. Terrific mattress. Large room. Very comfortable and large bath. The four poster bed had a horizontal piece between two of the posts missing. Half the lights in the bathroom didn't work. More to the point, clearly visible from across the... More

I know that the Blue Mountains is really expensive to stay in, but $200 a night for the room was a lot for what we got (one mate in the bedroom, one on a roll-out bed, and me on the sofa bed). The funny, tacky mismatched decor (a burnt out iron, wooden fruit, tiny frosted Christmas trees) and not particularly... More

St Mounts is a renovated 1920's era boutique hotel - a little shabby on the edges but overall a good option if you're tired of run of the mill motels. St Mounts is old but has a nice ambiance with a couple of classically furnished guest lounges, good rooms and 2 hectares of gardens. I imagine the fireplaces would have... More

My partner and I visited the Quality Inn St. Mounts as we had booked a horseriding excursion in the Megalong Valley. The hotel itself is quaint - designed in fusion of Nanna's taste and dollhouse applique. Each space is decorated uniquely, however with a common emphasis on plush furnishings, thick fabrics and a touch of old-time living. For example, our... More
