This pub is simply fantastic. Great views friendly staff and tasty food. The prices are very reasonable. I love their steaks and the Champagne battered blue eye is great also. Well worth the 35 odd minute drive from Hobart!

This was a last minute decision and came across the inn at night looking for somewhere to stay. Had a great meal and got a room that had its own bathroom. It was basic but clean with magnificent views over the harbour. Staff friendly and the locals in the pub there gave us great tips on where to go to...

Stayed overnight in one of the ensuite rooms. A basic room but with well kept and clean, with everything you'd need, and at a bargain price. To top it off, a view over the boat harbour to great you in the morning.
The hotel staff were hospitable and friendly, and were prompt to take and serve the evening meal order....

This Australian pub has good menus and specials. The sizes of portions are generous. Also a good wine selection. There are two areas - the bar includes tables outside for eating and the dining room which also has outside tables, but we were told that these are not for eating at. However, it was an extremely hot evening and in...

The menu is quite varied and the food is really delicious. The windows are clean and the view over The marina is very beautiful . We had the seafood platter which is definitely enough for 2 to share. Only surprising thing is the minimal offering of Tasmanian wine on the wine list. Overall I would definitely eat here again..
We have dined a couple of times at the Oyster Cove Inn recently. Both times we experienced friendly and timely service and the food was delicious, tasty and definately fresh. Good variety on the menu with good size portions leaving (us) no room for desert! The quality and presentation of the food is very good.
Downside: As there are exceptional...

This is my 3rd visit to the Oyster cove Inn this year and each time has been exactly the same. Great meal at a good price with a friendly welcome from lovely staff and an awesome view across the bay. This is a fantastic place to stop for a meal.
My colleagues and I held a lunch meeting at this hotel and loved it. The food was reasonably prices, generously served and came to the table hot fresh and very tasty. Everybody raved about their meals. This is certainy a place to check out when looking for a good lunch spot, driving through the Channel region or if waiting to...

The food and wait staff are really great. Didn't stay here, just came for dinner. My husband and I decided to share a Seafood platter. It was massive and I have no idea how 1 person could eat it on their own. Very quick and efficient service and our meals came quickly. Declious!
The Oyster Cove Inn at Kettering in the south of Tasmania has a view to die for. It has two lovely big decks that look over the marina (where the Bruny Island Ferry comes in) that you could sit an admire the view from all afternoon.
Apparently the hotel has recently changed owners and from reading previous reviews, they have...
