Had 2 nights stay in these tidy neat cabins not far from the waterfront in Strahan.Fully equipped kitchen & a large bathroom as well as a comfortable bedroom were provided.The owner was most helpful with information we requested.The most surprising thing was on both mornings we were greeted with the sight of a dozen black swans feeding in the paddock... “What a friendly place”

Sphere is such a lovely host. She couldn't do enough for us. The bungalows are of generous size, clean, crisp and well appointed. All amenities in the kitchen and the rooms are of a generous size. Great for families or a couple like us. We will go back again.

“Don't bother going elsewhere”

These bungalows won the Tourism People's Choice Awards for 2012. No wonder! The owner, Sheree, could not have helped us any more if she tried, such a friendly person and so well suited to her role. “Lovely, comfortable bungalows”

A great place to stay!! The bungalow was very clean with all amenities. Very close to restaurants and lots to see. Sheree who could not have been more helpful!!! Laundry facilities were close by, with a washing machine and dryer. Highly recommended!! Would definitely stay there again!!

“A few niggles that detract from otherwise excellent accomodation”

Strahan Bungalows is a fairly new establishment and this is reflected in the units being fresh and new, with all equipment and facilities attractive and working. Stayed here for three nights in Feb 2013. Very friendly and welcoming proprietors. The apartment was everything that we needed and more (Hell's Gates). Spacious, clean and well equipped. “Wide and spacious”

We stayed in a 2 bedroom unit, the King River, which was clean, neat and came with a wide kitchen countertop that ran the length of the corridor. The town centre and supermarket are just 1-2 minutes drives away. The shower/washroom was fantastic -- I didn't want to step out from under the shower spray. Will DEFINITELY stay here again... More

“Motel style accommodation”

Clean, comfortable motel style accommodation. Spacious, clean with the best shower we came across in Tasmania. There was some traffic noise as the bungalows are situated at a cross roads and this was a bit tiresome first thing in the morning. Complimentary tea, coffee and biscuits provided. We stayed 2 nights at the bungalows as a family of five including adult children. This accommodation is immaculately maintained and beautifully equipped and presented including plunger and plunger coffee! Great value for money.
