Hallauer House is 3 miles from the Oberlin College campus. We were visiting our son there and attending a performance he was in. Joe and Susan provided the right combination of welcome, warmth and privacy. The beds were very comfortable and although the house was historic, the updates and amenities are first class. The hosts prepared delicious full breakfasts and fortunately there is an exercise room to work off some of the extra calories. We plan to stay there again next year.

There was something very special about this B&B. Joe and Susan are pretty mild-mannered (like their beautiful and mellow dog) and very good people. We had a great stay at the Hallauer House. The rooms are full of history and the breakfasts are fantastic. The only advice I can give is the stairs are quite steep and it might be hard for an older person to navigate.
