Your going to love the smell They come in like snow flakes and keep your hand over your drink. I thought the charges were over done across the board. The restaurant food was so so. This hotel has a very friendly staff, small cramped rooms, poor breakfast menu and markets environmentally friendly practices which is simply a clever tactic to stimulate more profit for the hotel. Needed 1 room for 1 person on a Mon eve; rate with tax was $150 WIth senior discount! have stayed at many state parks & never paid that much, even on a w/e. “Great weekend,”

Stayed at the lodge for a one night stay. Everything was excellent. Got room service at night after walk on the beach. Swam and sauna the next am and a two hour walk on the boardwalk in the wilderness. Saw deer and birds close up. Got great pictures!

Your favorable score and great comments really made our day! It's so nice to have summer here and all of our offering open and running. This year, everything is in perfect shape--the golf course has never looked better . We hope you visit again sometime soon. More

We just returned from a wonderful few days at the Maumee Bay Lodge. Our room was clean and quite comfortable with a spacious storage/closet area and large bathroom. “Maumee Bay Lodge”

Really nice, clean, modern lodge with lots of amenities for families. Rooms are spacious, comfortable. Outside facilities includes pools, bike trails, hiking trails and a view of Lake Erie. Also has indoor pools, hottubs, game room, playroom for youngsters and indoor volleyball courts. Close to Cedar Point and Toledo and many parks along the water.

The lodge is well maintained, with pleasant rooms. This resort has the best food among the Ohio State Parks!! Its proximity to major migratory bird areas is a major draw and it is very busy during May.
