Stayed here 2 nights on business, not posting any MAJOR complaint other than they missed a wake up call one morning, but I was up anyway, so no big deal! Close to McDs, but aside from that just another Super 8.......

Very friendly staff,lots of "help" was around, This Super 8 is not gr8 but not bad either. The rooms are adequate , the beds were comfy and the rooms were clean. I love this place its awesome i will be back and by the way people quit writing bad stuff about this place and giving false information new staff,new maintence man and new management=great hotel stay at the Super 8 it's Great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The service of the staff was amazing and it was worth the cost. 5 stars!

Need I say more? This is what happens when there is no competition in a smaller city like Portsmouth. They also don't change bed sheet daily.

Anyone who stays here should carefully check for bedbugs and lice. This was my first encounter with bedbugs at a hotel. I did an initial check and saw nothing suspicious. The room was not exactly clean, but it was neat and very quiet. (I found trash under the chair when I moved it to watch TV, but hardly heard any trains going by.)
