This was my family's 3rd visit to the Breakers and 4th visit to Cedar Point. The Breakers was always considered an 'older' hotel with some nostalgia, but not even nostalgia can save this worn down facility. I stayed in Room 2130: bathroom tub walls and soap holder covered in soap scum and the drain stopper was broken; found blood on... More

This is by far the most disgusting hotel I've ever been to. The first room we checked into was filthy at 8:00 pm. CHECK OUT IS AT NOON. It looked like the previous guests were still checked in. After walking back down to the front desk to ask for a new room, the clerk offered to have room service clean... More

Room was the same price as in town ($75) for 2queens. The hotel is right in the park! U can watch all the rides change colors throughout the night. We also saved $12 in parking and got our tickets for $32 each! The best bonus for us was that if u stay at their hotels u get into the park... More

Our party of three adults were planning another visit to Cedar Point and had no hesitation in planning another stay at Hotel Breakers. Now we kind of wish we hadn't. We had hotel problems, park problems, etc. We booked a queen suite in the "new" part of the hotel. Bell services was fine. Unlike the last time, this time one... More

From reading other reviews I feel like some people are both a bit too generous and a bit too harsh on this hotel. Average is, in my humble opinion, the best rating for Hotel Breakers. Yes, its very outdated. Indeed, it doesn't feature 'basic ammenities such as a minifridge or microwave of state-of-the-art television.' The staff seems to lack proper... More

I have never stayed at the Breakers because it is more expensive than other places. I have stayed at the Breakers Express several times, but had the opportunity to stay at the Breakers for the American Coaster Enthusiasts Spring Conference at Cedar Point this year. We had a two queen suite with sofa bed, small fridge. Yes the TV's were... More

A group of friends and I decided to stay at the hotel out of convenience......well, that's about it! This hotel is outdated and in need of some serious TLC. It smells of chlorine and mold and there is NOTHING between those walls. We had the pleasure of staying during school trip week I guess, because all we saw were teenagers... More

While it is true that the Hotel is very old and certain features such as thin walls maybe can not be helped; I do think that the way that the hotel does present itself to the consumer matters. This often begins with something that hotels should be very much known for; customer service. My experience with the Breakers Hotel's Front... More

This hotel is terrible. I booked a 3-night stay with one King size bed for my wife and I along with 2 days of Cedar Point tickets (room 2310). The hotel itself is simply awful. It smells of dank water damage like a $1 movie theater. The rooms have zero amenities such as refrigerator and microwave. Our bed was even... More
