My husband and I rolled in to Crystal Crane pretty late. We still received very friendly and helpfull service. For very fair price of 20$ we got a full hook up ( even borrowed adapter that we did not have ) and unlimited access to hot spring poll, which is open 24 hours. The temperature in the pool is just... Discovered this place on a road trip through Eastern Oregon in September and stayed again in January while returning from Lake Tahoe to Portland. This place is so great, it's even worth a little detour. The accommodations are set up just like a hostel, a shared kitchen, bathroom/showers and lounge area (all in separate cabin-like buildings). There is also a... More

My wife and I stay here from time to time because we have relatives in Bend, OR and we live in Boise, ID. It's a nice half-way stop if you're leaving late and don't want to drive the whole way, or are just in the area and looking for a nice relaxing soak. We're headed out there this weekend just... More

Unfortunately, I found this a very disappointing experience. The first day we got there was a Monday and the water was about 100 degrees. that was as hot as they ever got. For some reason the owners turned the hot water down to a trickle at night and it was barely 85 degrees, not even as hot as a nice... More

Good place to stop if it is one your way to another destination. I stayed in one of the cabins and it was adequate. Free wifi on site, a very small general store, shared kitchen, and bathroom/shower. Place is clean and staff were friendly and helpful. Now the pool...one big pond that offers a good soak. In my opinion, this... More

We stayed in one of the cabins. It is just a bedroom, but clean. the bathroom is in the dressing room area. as with many hot springs they are rustic and you can camp or haver a roof over your head. Its a natural, nice outdoor experience. I enjoyed being able to walk right out into the outdoor soaking pool.... More

I’ve stayed here 5-7 times. The rooms are very rustic with a shared kitchen and a common area with chairs and a couple of couches. Bathrooms are out the door and down the sidewalk 50’ or so. The pond out back has 150 degree water coming in and is a great way to relax after a day of backcountry exploring.... More

Our recent stay at the hot springs was very enjoyable. We had a great time using all the facilities. The staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Keep up the good work.

Very nice and $reasonable getaway outside of Burns near outdoor activities such as Malheur Bird Refuge, Steens Mountain Loop. Got up early to soak in the 102 degree outdoor pool (included in price of lodging) and watch the beautiful sunrise while the coyotes howled in the distance. Sparse lodging (4 cabinettes - room w/a bed) but clean and warm (heated... More

If you are coming here, it is for the hot springs. Crystal Crane is about 25 miles from Burns and store and restaurants. The tiny town of Crane is about 2 miles and there is one pump gas and a diner. The 5 cabins are small, and pretty run down. The chair in ours was so dirty and torn I... More
