I decided to surprise my husband and stay somewhere other than a place just off the freeway as we traveled to Seattle. I booked one night at Morrison's on the second floor of the lodge instead of a cabin since we didn't need anything larger. By the time we had driven 6 hours we were hot and worn out. We... More

The best thing about this lodge is the setting and view. We took a bottle of wine across the expansive lawn to the adirondack chairs, and enjoyed the view. The accommodations were disappointing as was the lodge itself. Dinner was good but not worth $40/person. The staff was friendly.

My family and I, husband and two offspring (17 and 21), had a serious need to hit the Rogue River for a three day, two night raft trip a few weeks ago. We were to meet our guide at Galice at 8:30 AM so we needed to stay nearby. I booked a short stay at Morrison's and only regretted that... More

We got a recommendation for this lodge from a family member, and couldn't have been happier. we stayed in a no frills room, but very comfortable and clean, although there could be a bit more space around the king size bed (i stubbed my toe real bad - twice!), but the cabin-like room with a nice size front porch with... We stayed at Morrison's Rogue River Lodge because we had a morning float trip scheduled with them the following day. There are several rafting trips available, some with more whitewater than others. We opted for the least rough of the trips and enjoyed the beautiful scenery and informative guide. We were very impressed with the lodge, especially with the beautiful... More

As others have mentioned, the lodge is located in the trees above an expansive riverside lawn. Very relaxing setting with many fun activities for families and groups, especially active "kids" of all ages. We chose to stay in a small cabin the night before our day raft trip and found it very relaxing, comfy and fun. We played in the... More

Good value in a rustic lodge like setting. Staff is nice and location is good for those rafting The Rogue River. The dinner service is very limited, slow and overpriced. Skip dinner and drive into Merlin for a better value.

In looking at the other reviews, there isn't much I can add, except to say that we had a great time. The bartender, Monica, was great.....the liquor store run was late, so they did not have all the choices that were normal, she just upgraded our drinks and did it with a smile. The grounds are calming and wonderful. In... More

My family stayed one night at Morrison's before our kayaking trip on the Rogue River with Orange Torpedo Trips. We had a 3 bedroom, 3 bath unit that slept seven. It was perfect for our large group! Comfortable & homey with a kitchenette, sofa, plush towels etc. We enjoyed the riverfront and lawn games, the pool, the game room and... More

Just stayed two nights at the lodge and really enjoyed the setting and amenities. We stayed in Taylor Creek 1 and the room was spatious and comfortable. We ate dinner two nights and both were amazing! The chef really impressed us and the dinner staff were accomodating. I was a little sceptical about spending $38 on a chicken dinner, but... More
