This is an outstanding motel! Although it is on busy Cascade Avenue, it was very quiet all night long. My husband and I got away for our 28th anniversary. The room was dark and quite. It was clean. The bed was not hard but just right. I actually did sleep will considering it was not my own bed. The shower had a lot of pressure and felt like little needles and I would not stay in it too long.

Stayed here on a trip through Oregon just after New Years. Front desk was so very polite and friendly, gave a terrific recommendation for breakfast when we left. Room was as others have said, recently renovated, clean, and a comfy bed. Would absolutely stay again with no hesitation!

This is a nice place to stay while in Hood River. It's a motel, not a resort and that just what I wanted. If you are looking for a place to rest up, short and sleep, Sunset is just fine. Will stay here again

I found this motel to be clean, but not a destination motel. The owner takes pride in his motel and maintains it well. Safeway across the street, many restaurants within walking distance. Nice place to lay my head for tonight.
