By staying out of town but near I-5 we could drive into town for the Opera and save by parking for $6 after 6pm. Price was excellent value too with excellent restaurants and a shopping center nearby with the vineyards not that far out to the west near Carlton and Newberg.

After all taxes, my quote for two days was $132 ($66 per night). I reluctantly elected to "try" the Phoenix Inn, with the thought of saving a bit of money (I normally spend $99 - $109 after taxes per night).
