We stayed at the Cedarwood because of Trip Advisor, and all those 5-star ratings were absolutely right. This is one of the nicest "cabins" we've ever stayed in. Great location just a stone's throw from the river, lovely deck to enjoy the view and the sound of the rushing water. Mike and his family must be very handy, because the... More

In September 2012 my wife and I stayed in the #9 cabin, which can be summed up very easily. W-O-W. Mike and Carolyn sure know how to make you feel welcome and the cabin was very clean, cozy, etc. But we had our eyeballs on #4, a smaller cabin, the most requested one, right on the river, but had to... We've stayed at this wonderful place many, many times as a couple, a family, a father/daughter retreat, and with extended family. The cabins are so cozy with comfortable furnishings, high quality beds, well-equipped kitchens, homey decor, and great fireplaces. You can't beat the view, and so close to the McKenzie River that the sound will lull you to sleep each... More

Stayed 3 days, the cabin was spotless and very well appointed. Nice deck overlooking the river could sleep with only the screen door closed and hear the river rolling by. Very close to super hiking both easy and difficult hikes. Very informative and friendly host. would recomend and stay here again

Cedarwood Lodge is one of those places that you don't want to tell too many people about for fear of spoiling a good thing. This place defines tranquil paradise. We've stayed in three different cabins over the last decade. All of the cabins are impeccably clean, comfortable and provide the right level of amenities with casual country charm. The cabins... Cedarwood Lodge is an excellent choice for those who want to be yards from the Mckenzie River, about an hour east of Eugene, Oregon, off the 126 hwy. Mike and Carolyn, the owners, have been wonderful and our week-long stay at cabin 9 (800 sq ft) was perfect! They were very accommodating and everything stated on their website actually was... More

We stayed here for one night in two cabins after playing golf in Corvallis, with a round at Toketee the next morning. The cabins are rustic, but beautifully maintained with fresh wildfowers to gree you and everything you need, with a well stocked kitchen and firedwood and starter for the fireplace. Just don't forget the charcoal. This is a lovely,... More

I can't say how many years we've been coming here, but I wish it was more. We stay at the Little River Cabin, right on the river. Scenery can't be beat. We cook all our meals and the well stocked kitchen makes that easy. We leave the door open at night and enjoy the relaxing sound of the river rushing... More

The website of this place does not do it justice! It is a prefect location and really adorable full cabins. I could move in! We had the smaller one and it was perfect. The hosts the very personable and friendly. The quiet of the location paired with the sound of the river afforded us a relaxing evening and comfortable rest.... More

Wonderful location with the Mckenzie River located directly in front of our well appointed and recently refurbished cabin #9. Great views from both living room and bedroom. Large stretch of riverfront a couple of feet above the river but no beach. Exceptionally high quality King bed. Well maintained landscaping. Gracious host. Reasonable prices. Basic woodland stay- so no TV, DVD,... More
