This hotels restaurant is a nice find. It has a great view of the bay and marina, and I had no complaints about the food. It's a beautiful looking hotel, and I wouldn't mind staying here some time.

Visited the beautiful Oregon Coast for the first time this weekend with my boyfriend. He has stayed at the Embarcadero on previous visits and loves the suite accommodations, crab dock, and staff. We stayed in the Ultimate Honeymoon Suite and were completely impressed by it's romantic, cozy feel. The room was terrific and the property was in great condition! I... More

Our family has vacationed at the Embarcadero for years and have always had a wonderful time. This year, we learned of the new system for chosing a unit that best fits the needs of the guest. When we called to make the reservations, they explained the difference between a standard (minimum standards) condo and a premium condo (deluxe standards....remodeled, fresh... More

This hotel was gross, the bed was hard as a rock, and I actually felt dirty being there. You can tell that it was probably a great hotel in its heyday but it has been rundown. My remote didn’t work and I couldn’t see the tv from my bed (may sound silly but for a business woman who does a... More

We stayed two nights in the Vacation International timeshare portion of the Embarcadaro. It was very nice and clean. The kitchen was well stocked. It had a balcony overlooking the harbor and bridge on the main and top level. Everything was very clean and updated. Both bathrooms had large jetted tubs and tons of room in the bathrooms. The facilities... More

We have stayed at the Embarcadero more than once. Newport is our favorite vacation spot and we go several times a year. Once we found the Embarcadero we have not stayed anywhere else. We have always paid for a PREMIUM suite and have never been disappointed! These units are really condo/vacation units - not hotel rooms. They are not cookie... More

My husband and I booked two nights during the annual Newport Seafood and Wine Fest. We stayed 2/23 and 2/24. What a joke of a room! We had a full size mattress! It didn't occur to me when I booked that I should ask. I assumed that we would have a Queen in less I requested a King. I normally... More

The heating system did not work in our room (118). We about froze to death last night. One hallway space heater did work. The gas fireplace did not work (the front desk said it actually does work it's just a "little complicated." I guess you need to be a mechanical engineer to get it to work. My wife said the... More

I was told this is a timeshare property. Rooms are rented, only when owners are not in house. The common areas looked worn and old. Stayed at the Hallmark, on the beach. My family made reservations for New Year's Eve dinner for four adults in the main dining room. We all were looking forward to a "Local Caught North Pacific... More

We traded a timeshare week for this resort, and were relatively pleased. The biggest problem is that it was a "studio", which meant that it was very small and also had only a small refrigerator and a microwave and NO dishwasher (except me!). We ended up buying an electric skillet for cooking, and that helped a lot. Another problem is... More
