My husband and I wanted to enjoy a place in Oregon that was close to Hood River and Mount Hood Meadows but offered a little bit of solitude as well. I just cannot get over the views of Mount St. Helens from the hot tubs! The staff is really friendly, the food in the restaurant was great and not overpriced... More

My son and I stayed for 3 nights in mid-March. We were there for one reason - to ski at Mount Hood. For that purpose, this place was more than adequate, and the most convenient lodging to Mt. Hood Meadows (just 20 minutes or so depending on the snow; the next closest is probably twice as far). We were comfortable... More

Having made reservations over the phone, everything sounded like it was in order and the gal couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. Check-in was just fine since we arrived after hours so we had no interaction with their staff. The condo with kitchenette was average, but very dark. The condo could really use more or brighter lights. There's a... More

I wish I had read other reviews here before booking. I booked a weekend (Sat, Sun nights) to celebrate my husband's birthday. We had a "lodge hotel room" with 2 queen beds. There was no mention on the website that a large condo would be overhead, or that the rooms had no windows, other than out into the hallway. The... More

My family stayed over a long holiday weekend (mlk) and we lucked out with the first real snow. We got the hotel room and it was a bit dated and woodsy but ample in size. You can hear "critters" in the walls from time to time: squirrels was our guess but there was no evidence of them in the rooms.... More

We stayed in the lodge which was very dark and not very impressive. We were there because we were attending a wedding close by and there are few places to stay in that area. I can't comment on how the rest of the resort cabins are. We had no view because there is a covered hallway that caters to skiers.... More

Our family came to stay the night in hopes of snow, and stayed in one of the condo's. It was very cozy, clean, and comfortable. The staff was amazing! They helped with choosing the perfect accommodations, helping with our fire, and checkout was a breeze. We used the hot tub under the stars at night and in the morning while... More

My family of four stayed in the large Log Cabin. We spent every evening in the jacuzzi tub staring up at Mt Hood. We couldn't believe the view. From the front door you get a view of Mt Adams. Wow - GREAT location!

My extended family and I rented one of the larger cabins here during the summer and loved it. We had multiple generations staying and the location was perfect for both young and old. The proximity to great hiking trails in the summer and skiing in the winter can't be beat. We had one meal at the lodge which worked well... More

This is a great little escape from Portland. You really feel like your away from it all. And the best part is Hood River is just down the road! Wine tasting, fruit, great food... etc! Also great hikes in the area. Just off HWY 35 (south of Cooper Spur) to visit Tamanawas Falls. Round trip is 4 fairly easy miles.... More
