This is one of those times that the reviews were correct. The Compass Rose maybe a little difficult to find but well worth the efforts. Doug & Karen are great hosts & the breakfast was wonderful

Very lovely place. The rooms are very clean, lots of room, and beautiful property. We stayed 2 nights and the breakfasts were delicious! We enjoyed walking the trails on the property. Loved Port Orford area. Doug and Carol were both excellent hosts.

This spacious, comfy B&B is located in a lovely, wooded area, an easy walk to a beautiful shore. There are also paths on the property. My husband and I were traveling home from a trip to Washington and stayed a the Compass Rose for one night. The hosts have a done a marvelous job creating a very peaceful and relaxing retreat. The room we stayed in was beautiful and very comfortable. The surrounding area is so peaceful. We truly enjoyed our visit.
