Great location, friendly staff, nice rooms, as always, which is why I'm such a fan of the Kimpton chain. However the sofa bed I slept on was murder. It's going to take my back a few days to recover. Other than that, it was a great stay!

This was a good hotel for a short visit to downtown Portland. They have a daily wine reception in the lobby and free starbucks coffee in the morning. The rooms are tiny - what you would expect at a midtown Manhattan hotel - but well-appointed and comfortable.

We stayed at the Vintage Plaza three nights and it was great from beginning to end. We had decided to do a little road trip to Portland. We took our bikes. Once again perfect stay there. Very good service, friendly, warm. Nice room. Another thing that is nice is that you can get in touch with the manager and she really helps making your stay better. A manager actually listening to customers is rare enough to be mentioned. Two thumbs up for the Vintage Plaza.

A second great stay at the VP. I was impressed with the welcoming emails prior to my trip, and recognized as a repeat customer with treats and a note in my room. An awesome staff that is always warm and welcoming.
