Rustic? How about outdated with 60's flooring, fixtures, laminate (my mother's pattern), design? No cell service. We stayed in cabin 12 3 bedroom 1 bath with kitchen, no wi-fi there as it is 50 yards from the office. Cabin 12 is in total disrepair. No TV, wet firewood, no deadbolt, poor lighting. OK...I get that some folks have an issue with sharing a shower and toilet. If you do...don't stay in the main lodge. The room was adequate - there was a shared women's and men's shower/toilet with a sink in the room. The setting was wonderful with multiple hike options and Union Creek at the back of the main lodge. I would stay again.

If your idea of "roughing it" is staying in a Motel 6, then this place is way too primitive. We found the "resort" to be a rejected CCC camp. The cabins were funky, poorly maintained and overall just grungy. The price does not reflect the overall value. I suppose this is perfect for someone who likes living in a tent... More

We rode our motorcycles down and had a great stay. Theres a general store on site for beer, fire wood, snacks ect. They have tow horse shoe pits, each cabin has a fire pit out front. Overall we had a great stay with plenty to do. Cafe across the street had great food too.
