We stayed 2 nights in January. Very comfortable and clean. Nothing fancy, but we came for the ocean, not the hotel. 7 miles of beach right at your feet, dog friendly, gas fireplace and a kitchen. Reasonably priced. We like Rockaway because there isn't much there; peace and quiet and the beach.

We stayed here a few years ago but always in the summer...In the winter the rooms are drafty...Only a small wall heater under the window...The bathroom has a window so very drafty and like sitting in an outhouse.
