I just want to say how great this hotel is, and what a fantastic value it represents. It was me, my wife, my two sons and my 76 year old mother. We traveled to The Dalles from Portland to participate in my sons' weekend basball tournament. We booked two rooms. Both were very clean and updated. No issues at all.... More

Well situated for downtown The Dalles - within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and microbreweries. The room was large and clean. Easy to drive to but is on a one-way system so be careful as you exit! Only downside was wifi was very poor.

I work on wind turbines, so by nature I travel where the wind takes me and I am on the road alot. The building may be a little old but by far its well maintained. Its in the Historic distric downtown The Dalles. Had great conversations with the staff, who were always friendly courtious and professional. Rates were great, Rooms... More

The place is so overpriced and the staff is ignorant. That manager Victoria is awful and should not be managing the place. There were no towels at the pool and all the while the staff was just chatting upfront. Victoria was so rude to my wife. Surprised with her i charge the places is not totally bankrupt. Don't waste your... More

When traveling through the gorge i stay at The Dalles Inn. Staff is wonderful, rooms are great, esp. love king bed. . And stay when available in one of the few smoking rooms they have. Rooms are always clean and comfortable. I also have stayed in the tower and makes it nice to have the breakfast room close by in... More

I didn't find my ground-floor "annex" room noisy, although it is along a main street. There is a pub next door, Clock Tower Ales, that has live music and a patio. Didn't try it, but it looks pleasant. The beds are very comfortable and the room is equipped with anything you could want. Hot beverages are always available in the... More

We stayed here because we were going to an event at Sunshine Mill/Copa De Vino winery and wanted to be able to wak there and back. It's an older motel type building in the back where we stayed but it was probably quieter than the hotel type unit in front. Breakfast was included and there was a good variety of... More

I just spent a night at The Dalles Inn. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good. I was on the north side of the 4th floor looking over the river. It is a decent view although nothing like what you can get if you drive further up the bluffs to Sorosis Park.... More

Not a luxury hotel, but certainly clean and comfortable, The Dalles Inn is a good place to overnight on the Columbia River Gorge. We stayed in the "tower" portion of the motel, and our room was well appointed, and the bed very comfortable. It is noisy being on the north side of the property, with the train and I-84 nearby.... We visit The Dalles at least once a year, first time we used The Dalles Inn and liked it so much we will return. Has a nice breakfast room, an exercise room and it is well maintained. If you get the 4th floor you can get a decent view of the downtown and if on the north side, the Columbia... More
