Well situated for downtown The Dalles - within easy walking distance of restaurants, shops and microbreweries. The room was large and clean. Easy to drive to but is on a one-way system so be careful as you exit! Only downside was wifi was very poor.

I didn't find my ground-floor "annex" room noisy, although it is along a main street. There is a pub next door, Clock Tower Ales, that has live music and a patio. Not a luxury hotel, but certainly clean and comfortable, The Dalles Inn is a good place to overnight on the Columbia River Gorge.
